keydous NJ80-AP Wireless Mechanical Keyboard with Knob Bluetooth 5.0/2.4G/Wired Connection 75% Hot Swappable Custom RGB Programmable Gaming Keyboard with PBT Keycap for Win Mac
About this deal
The keycaps on the NJ80 are great. Keydous has included PBT dye-sublimated keycaps that have got sharp and well-placed legends. They feel super comfortable under the finger and have a slight texture to them, which I appreciate. The keycaps, and by extension, the switches are cherry profile, so you practically have an endless list of options if you ever wanted to customize them. Keydous offers the NJ80 in wired, wireless Bluetooth, and wireless with the included 2.4Ghz dongle. The latency in Bluetooth is excellent as the NJ80 uses the superior Bluetooth 5.0 standard. You can easily get away doing regular typing tasks on Bluetooth, although I suggest switching to either wired or using the 2.4Ghz dongle if you want to game. There’s even a small slot on the underside of the keyboard to store the 2.4Ghz dongle, which is super convenient.
If you want to factory reset the NJ80, you can do so by pressing and holding Esc, Left Ctrl, F12, and the right arrow key for 3 seconds. Mac CompatibilityThe closest thing to the Keydous NJ-80, with a 75% wireless build and a focus on quality parts, is the excellent Keychron Q1 Pro. And that keyboard has a few distinct advantages over this one: a full metal body, better customization options, and far better software (again, standard QMK/VIA).
RGB Lighting Setting: RGB Wave, Ripple, Rain Drop, Snake, Press Action, Convergence, Sine Wave, Kaleidoscope, Line Wave, Laser, RGB Circle Wave, Dazzing, Breathing, Color Cycle, Music Visualiser 1, Music Visualiser 2) Hold down the FN+1 key for 3 seconds. The keyboard enters the pairing state, and the digit 1 indicator blinks at short intervals. It is not necessary to insert and remove the shaft body with great force. When you find that the shaft body needs great force, it may be misaligned, please stop the operation, otherwise the hot plug base will be damaged, or the solder pad will fall off and the PCB will be directly discarded. A ‘sleeper car’ blends into traffic but hides a roaring engine under the hood. The NJ80 might be called a sleeper keyboard.
If you want to pair another device to the NJ80, follow the above steps; but when entering pairing mode, press and hold Fn + a different number from the one you initially used to pair the first device with. This lets you simultaneously pair multiple devices to the keyboard. You can then easily switch between paired devices by pressing Fn+1/2/3. 2.4Ghz Connection Taobao: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09.2.0.0.da972e8duHYsPQ&id=649551885563&_u=22f01bb1cd85The Gateron Pro Milky Yellows, combined with the excellent stabilizers, make the overall typing experience incredibly smooth.
