I tested it overnight in an unheated, external utility room that’s horribly prone to condensation, and it did a solid job of keeping the drips at bay. The outer case cover has a mesh fitted and then there should be a separate removable washable filter.

What do you do if you already produce some of the quietest and most energy-efficiency dehumidifiers on the market?

We like its portable appeal, without it being too intrusive and there is, of course, the option of getting a larger capacity variation on the theme if you have larger rooms and/or more moisture to tackle. What’s more, the new model comes in a 25L variant for larger households, which isn’t an option with the ABC range. I am planning to leave the machine off, but the room gets very cold, the temperature can drop to 14 degrees.Bought both a DD8L junior and a Arete 12L thinking I could use both at different times, applications etc.
